Sewage and storm overflows are one of the most common forms of property damages that occur each year. A lot of the projects that we arrive at have some sort of unknown contaminant's present. If you have items contaminated by sewage backup, proper cleaning and disinfecting procedures should be followed to prevent illness. Raw sewage contains biological agents such as bacteria, viruses, fungi and parasites that can cause serious illness and even death.

EPA suggests that you do not attempt to remove contaminant's yourself. You need an experienced company to insure the contamination is contained and removed without spreading the contaminant's and affecting the health of your employees or family. Our scope of work has included Hospitals, Banks, Commercial Buildings, Industrial facilities, Hotels, Restaurants and Single family homes. Sewage damage cleanup procedure

Sewage damage assessment: First we will assess the damage by walking through the premises with the home or business owner and prepare a scope of work for approval

Detailed sewage damage estimates: Once we have an approved scope of work we will immediately write an estimate for the sewage damage cleanup

Sewage extraction and removal: Once the estimate is approved we will proceed with the sewage water extraction and removal of all wet contents for salvage or disposal

Sanitization: Once the sewage water is extracted, the carpet, padding removed, any wet drywall, etc. removed, contents put on blocks, we use an anti-microbial to protect against any bacterial growth

Drying / dehumidification of flooded space: After the anti-microbial is applied the final step would be to set up air movers, dehumidifiers and air scrubbers so the entire structure dries properly. These machines have to run continuously for a minimum for 72 hours

Complete property reconstruction: Flag can completely put your home back to the way it was before the water damage occurred, like it never happened.
